Both Grace and her pregnant mother love chocolate milk shakes. One of them is better at sharing than the other. Check out this video clip.

Auf wiedersehen Aileen
They say good things come to those who wait and it is true! We waited months to find the perfect person to watch Gracie and Nicholson and we found her! Aileen watched the kiddos for seven months and we are SO lucky to have her in our lives - now, she is off to audition for a dance school in Munich Germany and we wish her the best of luck...though selfishly, we want her back too!!! She taught Gracie how to blow kisses, sign language and how to be the sweet and fun lady that she is today!
Best of Luck to you Aileen and we miss you so much & wish you the very best!!!

Summer in the City!
We got a taste of summer this weekend! Friday night we went out for pizza with some friends, Saturday we went to the Kite Festival down the street at Montrose Harbor & Sunday we went to Wrigley for the Crosstown Classic! It was Gracie's second baseball game in a week (we went to the Sox game with my mom on Tuesday). What a lucky girl!
Cutie-pa-tootie having some edamame at our picnic at the beach
Gracie & Mark ready for the big sweep...um, I mean, big game!
Blowing bubbles with Dad in the Park
Lots of kites!
Having a 'treat' after the Crosstown game. I have created a monster - she loves ice cream!
Playing with her buddy Nicholson at the park
Happy Mother's Day
I had a terrific 2nd Mother's Day! I got to sleep in & woke up to homemade waffles from Mark! YUM! We then met Maren for lunch at the Danish home then had a really nice dinner with the Connors Moms at Capital Grill. Yum again!
Here is Gracie with her #1 Fan, GG. They were feeding each other ice cream. It was ADORABLE! My Grandma doesn't even like vanilla ice cream!
We had a quick snack at Superdawg after our visit to the Danish Home. It was Gracie's first hot dog and she LOVED it! I liked mine too...

Gracie’s rash and Oatmeal bath
So Gracie had a mild rash that required her take a bath with a some oatmeal mix. The bath was going
fine until the oatmeal coagulated together.
Being the good dad that I am, I tried to mush the oatmeal back into the
water. The problem was what I picked up wasn’t
oatmeal. It was a little Gracie
turd. My loving wife tried to warn me,
but she was laughing so uncontrollably and couldn’t get the warning out.
The “I can’t believe Grace pooped in the tub & Mark is
making ME clean it up” Face.
Just like Mom and Dad
Gracie is always grabbing mom and dad’s computer so Erin
bought Gracie akid’s laptop and she loves it.
You’ve got mail!
Playing around
Gracie’s pretty bonnet/ Easter basket. I think she looks like a little Polish
Immigrant.
Having
fun with a box of Styrofoam peanuts!
Now
that Gracie has so many teeth we are teaching her how to brush them.
Gracie & her pal Nicholson. He is the sweet little guy we share our nanny
with. Gracie gets so excited to see him every Tuesday & Thursday morning!
Will you chase me up & down the hall way just one more
time?!
Goofing around with mom
