Hoopla!

It seems Gracie is a sports fan too!  We took her to see some NCAA games on Sunday with my parents.  We saw the big Purdue/VCU upset and then a disappointing ND loss.

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Happy St. Patrick's Day from Gracie!
Old habits die hard...I had to have a Guinness on St. Patrick's Day so we took Gracie to her first Irish Pub.  Luckily she loved it!  I guess she is more like her mom than we thought!

Choo,Choo!

Before Nora, Aidan & Rory went back to NY we had to go to Snackville Junction! It is a great diner on the southside where your food is brought to you on a train.  The special thing about this place is that my Dad would come here with his Grandma as a child, he brought us there when we were little and now he gets to bring Aidan, Rory & Gracie!

I think Rory & Gracie will appreciate it more next time...
Here comes lunch!  I don't know who had more fun...Aidan or Grandpa?

Cousins Photo Shoot!

Nora was able to stay in Chicago for a week after the Christening!  It was so much fun to have them here.  Here are some pics from our first ever cousins photo shoot!

Nora got these adorable onesies...and the super cool leg warmers that Gracie is wearing!

Big Cousin Aidan looking in on the babies...
Thing 1, Thing 2 & Thing 3! Nora & I actually had to swap numbers 2 & 3 since Gracie was born so early!
 Grandpa with his Irish Grandkids
As the oldest child, I love this picture!  Aidan has mastered the look of, "what? I'm just playing with him!" hehehe.  Poor Rory!
Two cute Irish Lads with one sweet Irish Lassie.  Rory still looks nervous about having Aidan so close - ha!
Sweet Rory Taylor & Gracie Mogensen

Happy Birthday GG

The Sunday after the Christening was my Grandmother's Birthday! We had a great party at the Chicago Firehouse Restaurant.  Thank you Aunt Colleen for treating!

Here is the birthday girl,  GG telling Rory a funny story...
Gracie having some quality time with Papa.  I just think this picture is so sweet!

Christening Pictures

My Grandma says it is good luck if your child cries during the Baptism, so we are going to be VERY lucky!  Thank  you to Tom & Mark who kept Gracie chill as she wailed. Here is Gracie with her Godparents Auntie Nora & Uncle Tom.
Our musicians - Kyle & Aidan!  Look at those sweet faces!
My adorable God Son Rory James!  He was so good during the Christening & I am so proud to be his Godmother! I love him so much!!
It was a huge treat to have Mark's Grandmother/Gracie's Great Grandmother at the luncheon following the Christening.  She is 101 and this is her 21st Great Grandchild.  Thank you Maren for joining us & to Dennis and Kirsten for picking her up in the March snow storm!

Christening Weekend March 5th!

Grace Elizabeth & Rory James were Baptised together on March 5th at Nativity of our Lord in Bridgeport. It was such a special weekend because the priest who baptised them (Fr. Kehoe) also baptised Mark in 1976!  Gracie was so lucky to have so much family there from all across the country - Idaho, California & New York to witness the special event.  Thank you to her fabulous God Parents Nora & Tom!  We had a lot of fun events the entire weekend so here are a few pictures...

Friday night our West Coast Family arrived!  Uncle Sean from LA, Nonnie & Papa from Palm Springs, Auntie Kirsten from Hayden & Uncle Tom, Auntie Laura, with cousins Alice & Kyle from Boise!  We had a delicious dinner at Q - YUM!

Gracie with Uncle Sean wearing her fancy Barrett.  I think she looked more like Rerun - ha!
