Summer in the City!

We got a taste of summer this weekend!  Friday night we went out for pizza with some friends, Saturday we went to the Kite Festival down the street at Montrose Harbor & Sunday we went to Wrigley for the Crosstown Classic! It was Gracie's second baseball game in a week (we went to the Sox game with my mom on Tuesday).  What a lucky girl!

Happy Mother's Day

I had a terrific 2nd Mother's Day!  I got to sleep in & woke up to homemade waffles from Mark! YUM!  We then met Maren for lunch at the Danish home then had a really nice dinner with the Connors Moms at Capital Grill.  Yum again!

 Here is Gracie with her #1 Fan, GG.  They were feeding each other ice cream.  It was ADORABLE!  My Grandma doesn't even like vanilla ice cream!

We had a quick snack at Superdawg after our visit to the Danish Home. It was Gracie's first hot dog and she LOVED it!  I liked mine too...

Gracie’s rash and Oatmeal bath

So Gracie had a mild rash that required her take a bath with a some oatmeal mix.  The bath was going fine until the oatmeal coagulated together.  Being the good dad that I am, I tried to mush the oatmeal back into the water.  The problem was what I picked up wasn’t oatmeal.  It was a little Gracie turd.  My loving wife tried to warn me, but she was laughing so uncontrollably and couldn’t get the warning out.

Gracie is always grabbing mom and dad’s computer so Erin bought Gracie akid’s laptop and she loves it.
