California Love

Mark, Gracie & I headed on our first family trip!  Why go to Wisconsin when you can fly to BEAUTIFUL LaQuinta California!  We had a wonderful time in the desert with the Mogensens - Mark's parents are the greatest & most patient hosts!  As an added bonus, Sean drove in from LA to visit!  Thanks again Sean!

Poor Gracie, I used to think she was tan & was lucky enough to get Mark's skin tone, but I think that may be changing.  Welcome to life in the shade baby girl!

Gracie vs. The Texas Brisket! My cousins gave us this brisket from the Salt Lick BBQ in Texas so we brought it to the desert.  Tom cooked it to perfection & it was super yummy!  I don't think Gracie was happy to be sharing her Brisket.

The big puppet show that was sans puppets but I'd still give it 4 stars!
